DIY // Bronzing Oil

At this point, everyone is well aware that winter is here. Also at this point, my skin has reached the highest level of pastiness. Gone are the days of a warm summer glow and gently sun-kissed skin. If you feel like me, and just want a little color to get you through the winter, I have found the solution. It is very easy to make and I have seen similar products going for $40-which is definitely not what I spent on this. It is a simple mix of oils and brown/bronze pigment. If your skin doesn't respond well to oil, I'm certain the same method can be used with lotion. I prefer my skin moisturizers to be as pure as possible so I opted for almond oil and vitamin E which is supposedly so good for your skin. We're pretty flexible around here so feel free to experiment.

Supplies:

1/2 cup pure organic almond oil

1/2 tsp vitamin E oil

1 tsp brown pigment ( I used bareMinerals in Cashmere)

1/2 tsp gold pigment ( I used MAC in Gold Mode)

Directions:

Simply mix all of the ingredients together. Add a little dab on your cheeks or apply to your arms and chest. A little bit goes a long way. I would let it soak in before putting clothes on, etc...
