25 Days of Craftsmas: Gum Drop Ornaments

There was a tutorial for one of these projects floating around Pinterest. You can view it

here

. We decided to do a version of that by using Polymer clay instead of plaster. These ornaments are so cute.

Supplies:

  • Sculpey clay
  • Craft paint in various colors
  • Glitter
  • Cookie sheet
  • Paintbrush
  • Eye pins (found in the jewelry section of the craft store)

1. Massage the clay until it is soft enough to mold.

2. Mold the clay into a little gumdrop shape.

3. Push an eye pin in through the top. Bake at 275 for 15 minutes.

4. Once the clay is baked and cooled, paint them.

5. Pour glitter on immediately after painting them.

6. Allow to dry and then hang them on the tree.
