8th Day of Craftsmas // Christmas Manhattan
Cocktails count as crafts, right? This one is basically a Manhattan with the exception of cutting the sweet vermouth with some Amaro. It's strong and sweet. You can even add a dash of cinnamon to make it even more festive.
Ingredients (m
akes 1 drink):
• 2 parts whiskey (bourbon in this case)
• 3/4 oz sweet vermouth
• 3/4 oz amaro
• orange peel
• 2 maraschino cherries
• 2 dashes of bitters
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients and stir well with ice. Garnish with the orange peel and serve very cold or over ice. Enjoy!
