25 Days of Craftsmas: Snowy Fruit

This project was first seen in a Martha Stewart Christmas craft book. Here's our version. Enjoy!

Supplies:

  • Fruit ( Lemons, pears, oranges, etc)
  • Granulated Sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • Cookie sheet
  • Paintbrush 
  • Parchment paper
  • Bowls

1. Separate the eggs. Put the whites in one bowl and the yolks in another. Save the yolks for another day. 

2. Pour the granulated sugar onto your cookie sheet. 

3. Brush the fruit with the egg whites. 

4. Sprinkle the sugar onto the fruit. 

5. Allow the fruit to dry and then display them however you'd like.
