Eating In // The Best Homemade Salsa

Homemade salsa is so easy. You can't even compare the taste to jarred salsa. It's like a totally different animal. Try it for your next party or for a fresh snack. 

The Goods:

Serves 6-8

  • 5 plum tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 3 tbls fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tbls olive oil 
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 splash apple cider vinegar or lime juice 
  1. Roughly cut the tomatoes and onion into big chunks. Throw all the ingredients into a food processor and pulse until its all chopped but not liquified. Adjust the seasoning as needed. Serve with chips or eat it with anything that you like to eat with salsa.
